Jump House Design was formed in 2001 from a foundation of special effects editing, interactive design, print and web design. As an integrated media creation company, our expertise spans design to delivery for web development/marketing, multimedia, DVD and broadcast. We believe the user experience and content are paramount. Our design philosophy is to provide an enjoyable and intuitive user experience. Our process includes the client at every step of the creation-construction-deployment cycle.

Joe Hoffman: Project Manager / Principal

Joe began his career as a documentary video editor in NYC before learning video special-effects editing and compositing. Moving to San Francisco in the late '80s, he was a Technical Director for effects projects at One Pass/Editel SF, then was quickly promoted to VP for Engineering. He began his consulting business based on his experience in the film and video fields as an editor, effects compositor, broadcast designer and engineer. His move into web design was a natural progression and began as the web was just becoming both popular and necessary for some of his video and film clients.

Combined with a marketing degree and years of practical experience, he continues to help small and medium-size companies get their footing on the Web. He has worked extensively in the specialized travel industry, interior design industry, and with non-profits looking to maximize their limited resources for outreach and communication. He specializes in designing user-friendly content management systems.

Jump House Design was created as a way to bring these disciplines into a more structured unit.
